A familiar place reinvents itself
The Upholm-Hof has been an integral part of Borkum’s hospitality for years. Whether enjoying homemade cakes in the sunshine, a cool drink in the beer garden or a cozy dinner after a day at the beach – many guests associate this place with carefree moments and the feeling of having arrived.
An exciting time lies ahead. Over the next few months, intensive work will be carried out in and around the Upholm-Hof. The Borkum Leuchtfeuer Touristik (BLT ) team is using the winter break to carefully develop the traditional house. The aim is to preserve the character of the Upholm-Hof and at the same time set new accents that will make it a special meeting place for guests and islanders.
We’re not giving too much away yet – but anyone who knows the Upholm-Hof can already look forward to a few surprises.
Until then, we would like to thank everyone who has stayed with us this season for wonderful conversations, sunny afternoons in the beer garden and unforgettable evenings in the restaurant. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Upholm-Hof soon – rethought, lovingly designed and with the same heart for Borkum as always.
